SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD:The Steelers Hines Ward Text to Win Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") starts immediately and ends on August 20, 2009 at midnight EST (the "Sweepstakes Period").
TO ENTER:The Sweepstakes is only offered via the Steelers website. There are three ways to enter this Sweepstakes:

*Text Message: During the Sweepstakes Period, send the keyword "Hines" to "WHALE (94253) from your 2-way text messaging capable wireless phone. Once you send the text message, you will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes, and will receive a bounce-back message confirming your entry, along with sponsor special offers. All text message entries must be received by midnight EST on August 20, 2009 to be eligible for the drawing.
All entrants must have a two-way text messaging capable handset in order to enter the Sweepstakes using the text messaging method. Entrants will be charged their text messaging rate for each text message sent or received through their handset according to the terms in their Wireless Calling Plan. Text messaging and wireless service are not available in all areas.

*Online or Mailed Entry: *Entry is available online at www.steelers.com for free without sending a text message during the Sweepstakes Period. An entry form can also be downloaded from www.steelers.com and mailed to: Songwhale, 30 55th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201. Entrants will be asked to follow the instructions online in order to enter the sweepstakes. By submitting your contact phone number and/or email address, you grant permission to be contacted by Pittsburgh Steelers Sports, Inc. or Administrator via phone and/or email. All entries must be received/postmarked by midnight EST on August 20, 2009 to be eligible for the drawing.

ELIGIBILITY:The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States or D.C., who are 18 years of age or older (except residents of Alabama and Nebraska who must be 19 years of age or older) at the time of entry. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law. Employees and directors of Pittsburgh Steelers Sports, Inc., PSSI Stadium Corp, Songwhale ("Administrator"), and each of their respective parent, subsidiary companies, affiliates, divisions, franchisees, representatives, consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers, distributors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, and members of their immediate families (defined for these purposes as including spouse, parents, children, and siblings and each of their respective spouses) and individuals living in the same household, are not eligible to participate. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.*
**RANDOM DRAWINGS:All drawings will be conducted by Songwhale, an independent marketing agency, whose decisions will be final in all matters relating to this Promotion. Winners will be selected in a random drawing of all eligible entries received/postmarked on or before midnight EST on August 20. Potential winners will be notified by phone call and/or email depending upon method of entry. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received, regardless of method of entry.
PRIZES & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES:One (1) Grand Prize – Authentic autographed Hines Ward jersey and personal phone notification of winning by Pittsburgh Steelers player, Hines Ward, Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") $250. Prize consists of only the items specifically listed as the prize. All prize(s) will be awarded "as is". Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value.
All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. If winner is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence, prize will be awarded to his/her parent/legal guardian. All potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility. Potential winners (or parent/legal guardian if winner is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form within two (2) days of notification. If a potential winner does not respond within the designated time, or there is a return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner will be selected. Upon disqualification, no further compensation will be given.
RESTRICTIONS:Winners may make no substitution or transfer of prizes and prizes are not exchangeable for cash. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winner.
Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor and its agents to use the winner's name and/or likenesses, prize information, photograph, voice or comments for purposes of advertising and trade without further notice, permission, or compensation, unless prohibited by law.
By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. By accepting a prize, winners agree to hold Pittsburgh Steelers Sports, Inc., PSSI Stadium Corp, Songwhale,, Administrator and their respective shareholders, directors, employees, subsidiaries, affiliates and independent contractors ("Released Parties") harmless from and against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize. Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. All materials submitted become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. Information collected in connection with this Sweepstakes will be used in accordance with The Pittsburgh Steelers privacy policy and these Official Rules. In the event of any discrepancy between the privacy policy and these Official Rules, the privacy policy shall control and govern. Sponsor, affiliates, subsidiaries and agencies are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing, the offering or the announcement of any prize or in the administration of the promotion. Official Rules will be posted online at www.steelers.com.
ADDITIONAL TERMS: Sponsor will not be responsible for incomplete, undecipherable, lost, late, damaged, misdirected or mutilated entries, misdirected or faulty text or e-mail messages or for any technical problems, incorrect announcements of any kind, hardware or software failures of any kind. Incomplete/illegible entries are void. Sponsor is not responsible for any human or other error that may occur in the processing of the entries, nor is sponsor responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries, or for technical, network, telephone, computer hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive any entry information on account of technical problems or failures of any wireless or internet service providers, traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof, which may limit a person's ability to participate in this Sweepstakes or receive communication from Sponsor.
If you send your entry via text message or other alternate form of entry offered, prize will be awarded to the name corresponding to the phone number/entry from which the entry originated. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to a mobile telephone number (MTN)/email address by a telephone company, wireless service provider, Internet access provider, Internet service provider or other organization (e.g. business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses, telephone numbers or wireless phone numbers for the telephone exchange associated with the submitted telephone number/email address or the domain associated with the submitted telephone, as applicable. Potential winners may be requested to provide The Pittsburgh Steelers with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the MTN or contact phone number and/or email address associated with the winning entry.
Sponsor assumes no responsibility for undeliverable text messages resulting from filtration of an entrant's Wireless or Internet service provider or for insufficient space to receive text or e-mail. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, suspend, or modify the promotion if fraud or technical failures destroy the integrity of the promotion; or if a technical problem corrupts the administration as determined by Sponsor/judges, in their sole discretion. If the promotion is canceled, Sponsor will award prizes using all eligible entries received as of the time of cancellation in a random drawing, and Sponsor shall have no further obligation to any participant in connection with this Sweepstakes. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed, or the like methods of participation will void all such entries by such methods.

Vermont residents may omit stamp. Requests for winner's list must be received by September 23, 2009.
