Steelers safety Ryan Clark will make his first trip to the NFL's annual all-star game as he has been added to the AFC Pro Bowl roster, it was announced today. Clark will be replacing Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed, who will miss the game with an injury.
The Steelers are sending multiple players to the Pro Bowl for the 11th straight season and the 20th time in the last 23 seasons. At least three Steelers have made the Pro Bowl every season dating back to 2001. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, wide receiver Mike Wallace, center Maurkice Pouncey (missing the game with an injury), safety Troy Polamalu (missing the game with an injury) and kick returner Antonio Brown were voted in to this year's game. Linebacker James Harrison was added to the roster earlier this week.
The Pro Bowl will be played on Sunday, January 29, at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii and televised on NBC at 7 p.m. Eastern.
