Steelers, Globetrotters and Other Guests Serve Season's Greetings to Patients and Families at Children's Hospital's Annual Holiday Dinner
WHAT: Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC's 10th annual holiday dinner is being held Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008. Dinner will be served by Children's Hospital employees, and there will be entertainment and special visitors for the patients and families.
The theme of the holiday dinner is "Holiday Carnival," and patients will receive stuffed carnival animals. There will be carnival booths with games, caricature drawings, painting and other activities.
Special guests, including members of the Pittsburgh Steelers, will be on hand to meet and greet patients and their families, sign autographs and pose for pictures.
WHO: Visitors will include members of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Harlem Globetrotters, University of Pittsburgh athletes and representatives from the Gemini Theater Company.
