Cheat Sheet: An overview of Steelers 2024 season

GENERAL

  • The Steelers' 10-7 regular season record was good for second place in the AFC North, a wild card berth and the six seed in the playoffs. Pittsburgh finished on a four-game losing streak but started the season winning three in a row to go along with another four-game winning streak midseason. Pittsburgh was 5-3 at home and 5-4 on the road. The Steelers finished with a 3-3 record within the division. They were 7-5 in the conference. Pittsburgh was 4-3 vs. playoff teams.
  • Pittsburgh was outscored by 52 points over their four-game losing streak but finished the season with a plus-33-point differential. That was seventh-best in the AFC and 13th in the NFL.
  • The Steelers generated 9.4 points in the first half of games (24th) and allowed 12.1 (20th). In the second half of games, Pittsburgh scored 12.5 (ninth) and allowed 8.8 (fourth).
