Who is your football mentor or inspiration?
James Conner. Everything that he has been through. The success he had after that. The way he goes about his business. He is someone I can look up to and follow.
What motivates you?
My family. That hard work they put in for me growing up as a kid, in college. Now that I see how much it takes. My mom, my dad, my brothers, all of them.
What scares you?
Death. Losing my parents. I know it all comes one day but that is the only thing that scares me.
Biggest challenge you had to overcome?
When I got hurt my sophomore year in college trying to get back and live up to what I was doing my freshman year.
What is your football mindset/approach?
Just to go hard every day. You might not be here the next day. It's a business. Everybody is coming to take your spot. You have to push yourself every day.
Why do you play football?
I have been doing it all of my life. It's a competitive sport. It's a physical sport. I love scoring touchdowns.
What is your proudest football moment or memory?
Being drafted to the NFL. Once I heard my name called it was a dream come true. I have worked my whole life for this. To be here and compete with the greatest players in the world is a dream come true.
When you hear Steelers football, what do you think?
Super Bowls. Tough.
