2023-2024 PITTSBURGH STEELERS YINZCHAT PLAYOFFS CONTEST (S) OFFICIAL RULES
ENTRIES ARE FREE OF CHARGE. ONE ENTRY ALLOWED PER ELIGIBLE PERSON PER CONTEST. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND UPON THE NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED BY SPONSOR. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR OTHERWISE RESTRICTED BY LAW.
CONTEST(S) DETAILS: The 2023-2024 Pittsburgh Steelers YinzChat Playoffs Contest(s) (individually, a "Contest" and collectively, the "Contests") will begin every Tuesday at 3:00 A.M. EST before each Steelers game during the 2023-2024 NFL Playoffs (each a "Playoff Game") and end the following Tuesday at 2:55 AM EST each week the Steelers participate in the remainder of the 2023-2024 NFL Playoffs (a "Contest Period"). Each Contest will require a participant ("Entrant") to answer no less than nine (9) Steelers multiple-choice trivia and/or Playoff Game prediction questions. Each correct answer will be assigned a point value (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) that results in an individual leaderboard ranking (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion). The Contest Entrant with the most points (as decided by Sponsor in its sole discretion) at the end of the following Tuesday at 2:55 AM EST to each Playoff Game in which the Steelers are a participant will be declared to be the winner ("Winner") and will win a Steelers item (as selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion) and a $100 Steelers Pro Shop Gift Card. In the case of a tie, a Winner will be randomly selected from those Entrants who are tied for the lead for that week. By participating in one or more of the Contests you agree to these official rules ("Rules"), inclusive of all terms and conditions. Please read the Rules carefully before participating. You must follow the directions provided within these Rules to be eligible to receive any prizes in connection with the Contest(s).
SPONSOR: The Contests are sponsored by Pittsburgh Steelers LLC, 100 Art Rooney Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 ("Sponsor").
HOW TO ENTER: To enter a Contest, you must (a) download the Steelers official mobile app (either via the Apple App Store or via Google Play) and create your fan profile or, if you already have a fan profile, just sign in; (b) answer the weekly trivia and/or Game prediction questions; and (c) agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of these Rules (an "App Entry"). All Entrants agree that all decisions of Sponsor shall be final and binding with respect to all matters related to the Contest(s). Entrants waive any right to challenge (a) any decisions made by Sponsor, and (b) to claim any ambiguity in the Rules, any Contest, or any App Entry.
ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF ENTRY: Send a letter or post card, postmarked by 12:00 AM EST on the date of the applicable Steelers Playoff Game, which includes your full name, age, mailing address, email address, phone number, and answers to the provided trivia and/or Game prediction questions, to 2023-2024 Pittsburgh Steelers YinzChat Playoffs Contest, 100 Art Rooney Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. By completing and sending the mail-in entry, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of these Rules (a "Mail-In Entry") (App Entry and Mail-In Entry are collectively referred to as an "Entry or Entries").
Entries, regardless of the method of Entry, must be received or postmarked by the end of each Contest Period. Limit of ONE (1), AND ONLY ONE (1), ENTRY PER PERSON PER CONTEST. Multiple Entries received from any person beyond this limit may void all such additional Entries. Entries that are incomplete, garbled, corrupted, or unintelligible for any reason, including, but not limited to, computer or network malfunction or congestion, are void and will not be accepted.
Failure to follow any instructions provided in these Rules may result in disqualification. All materials submitted become the property of Sponsor, and Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. You are responsible for your costs of entering, including online access charges, etc. The time of receipt of any valid Entry shall be the time such valid Entry becomes available to Sponsor. Sponsor's computer shall be the official clock of the Contest(s).
By entering the Contest(s), an Entrant gives express permission to be contacted by Sponsor.
BY PROVIDING CONTACT INFORMATION, ENTRANTS CONSENT TO THE COLLECTION AND STORAGE OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED. UNLESS THEY ELECT TO OPT-OUT, ENTRANTS TO THE CONTESTS MAY RECEIVE MARKETING AND OTHER PROMOTIONAL INFORMATION FROM SPONSOR AND/OR ITS AFFILIATED PARTIES AND CONTRACTORS. ELIGIBILITY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTESTS ARE NOT, HOWEVER, DEPENDENT UPON ENTRANT'S CONSENT TO RECEIVE SUCH MARKETING AND OTHER PROMOTIONAL INFORMATION AND YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING ARE NOT AFFECTED BY SUCH CONSENT. BY PROVIDING CONTACT INFORMATION AND NOT ELECTING TO OPT OUT, ENTRANTS CONSENT TO BEING CONTACTED BY SPONSOR, ITS AFFILIATED PARTIES OR PARTNERS, AND CONTRACTORS. CONTACT METHODS MAY INCLUDE MAILINGS, EMAILS, TEXT MESSAGES AND TELEPHONE CALLS (INCLUDING THOSE GENERATED FROM AN AUTOMATED TELEPHONE DIALING SYSTEM) AT THE TELEPHONE NUMBER PROVIDED, INCLUDING ANY WIRELESS TELEPHONE NUMBER PROVIDED. YOU MAY OPT OUT OF RECEIVING FUTURE CONTACTS AND MESSAGES AT ANY TIME.
ELIGIBILITY: The Contests are open to (a) legal residents of the fifty (50) United States of America and the District of Columbia who are thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of entry; and (b) legal residents of Mexico who are thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of entry. Notwithstanding the prior sentence, the Contests are void where prohibited or restricted by law, rule or regulation. Winners will not receive any reimbursement or other cash equivalent. Sponsor is not responsible if a Playoff Game is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason and no prize will be awarded if a Playoff Game is delayed, postponed, cancelled or the Steelers do not participate except in the sole discretion of Sponsor. Officers, members, managers, and employees of Sponsor Entities (as defined below), members of these persons' immediate families (spouses and/or parents, children, and siblings, and their spouses, regardless of where they reside), and/or persons living in the same households as these persons (whether or not related thereto) are not eligible to enter or win the Contests. "Sponsor Entities" shall mean Sponsor, the National Football League ("NFL"), and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, and affiliate companies; administrative, advertising, and promotion agencies involved with the Contests; and any other person or entity involved in the development, administration, promotion, or implementation of the Contests. The NFL is not, however, an actual Sponsor of the Contests.
WEEKLY WINNERS: There will potentially be a total of four (4) Winners selected during the 2023-2024 NFL Playoffs depending on whether the Steelers are a participant in each applicable playoff round. One (1) Winner of each Contest will be chosen from the pool of eligible Entrants who have completed the required steps as of the end of each Contest Period. In the case of a tie, a Winner will be randomly selected from those Entrants who are tied for the lead for that week. Winning is subject to verification of eligibility.
PRIZES: There will potentially be four (4) prizes (each a "Prize") awarded, depending on how far the Steelers advance in the 2023-2024 NFL Playoffs:
1. The Winner of the Wild Card Playoff round Contest Period will receive (i) a Najee Harris autographed Steelers replica jersey (approximate retail value ("ARV") is $400); and (ii) a $100 Steelers Pro Shop gift card.
2. The Winner of the AFC Divisional playoff round Contest Period will receive (i) a Cameron Heyward autographed football (ARV is $175); and (ii) a $100 Steelers Pro Shop gift card.
3. The Winner of the AFC Championship Playoff round Contest Period shall receive (i) a Diontae Johnson autographed football (ARV is $175); and (ii) a $100 Steelers Pro Shop gift card.
4. The Winner of the Super Bowl playoff round Contest Period shall receive (i) a T.J. Watt autographed Steelers replica jersey (ARV is $500); and (ii) a $100 Steelers Pro Shop gift card.
The Winners will be determined and selected in the sole and absolute discretion of Sponsor. Total ARV of the Prizes is $1,975.
NO TRANSFER OR ASSIGNMENT OF THE PRIZES: Exact Prize details shall be determined in the sole discretion of Sponsor. The Prizes are non-transferable and non-assignable, with no cash redemption except at Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prizes with ones of comparable or greater value at its sole and absolute discretion. Actual value of the Prizes may vary based on the actual item awarded. Odds of winning the Prizes depends upon the number of eligible Entries received during the applicable Contest Period(s). The Winners are fully responsible for any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes). All costs and expenses associated with the Winners' participation in the Contests and/or acceptance of the Prizes shall be the sole responsibility of the Winners unless otherwise provided in these Rules.
NOTIFICATION: Sponsor will notify the potential Winners of the Prizes at the telephone number and/or email address provided in the Entry. Sponsor will make three (3) attempts to contact a potential Winner via telephone and/or email within 24 hours from the time a Winner is selected. If Sponsor is unable to reach a potential Winner by telephone and/or email within such 24-hour period, then that potential Winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential Winner's Entry will be selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion. At the time of Sponsor's contact with a potential Winner, such potential Winner will be asked to provide his/her proof of age and a government-issued photo ID (or other such identification as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion). The notified eligible Winners shall be the only parties eligible to claim the Prizes.
If any Winner declines a Prize, fails to claim a Prize, is unavailable for Prize fulfillment, fails to abide by the Rules, or is ineligible, Sponsor may select an alternate Winner from all remaining eligible Entries. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for unsuccessful efforts to notify a potential Winner of a Prize.
PUBLICITY AND USE RELEASE: By submission of his or her Entry, an Entrant grants to Sponsor, and each of its designees, the right to publicize or use such Entrant's name, address (city and state of residence), voice, statements, photograph and/or other likeness, for advertising, promotional, trade and/or any other purpose in any media or format now known or hereafter devised, throughout the world, in perpetuity, without limitation, and without further compensation, consideration, permission or notification, unless prohibited by law.
RELEASE/WAIVER OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Contest(s) and submitting an Entry and/or accepting a Prize, each Entrant and/or Winner expressly agrees to (i) be bound by these Rules, including all Entry requirements, and (ii) waive, release and discharge any and all claims against the Sponsor Entities and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, representatives and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the Contest(s), and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, "Released Parties") for any injury, damage or loss that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, arising out of or in any way related to the Contest(s), these Rules, Entrant's Entry, negligence of any of the Released Parties, any travel or activity related to the receipt or use of the Prizes (or any portion thereof), or the acceptance, participation, use or misuse of the Prizes (or any portion thereof).
Additionally, if a potential Winner is under the age of eighteen (18), or in the case of legal residents of certain areas where the legal age of majority is greater than eighteen (18) years of age, then that potential Winner's parent or legal guardian must execute a Parental Waiver and Release in the form attached hereto as Attachment A in order for such potential Winner be eligible to claim a Prize.
PRIVACY POLICY: Information collected by Sponsor in connection with the Contest(s) will be used in accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Policy (http://www.steelers.com/legal/privacy-policy/) and these Rules. In the event of any discrepancy between Sponsor's Privacy Policy and these Rules, Sponsor's Privacy Policy shall control and govern.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Released Parties are not responsible for late, incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, undelivered, or garbled Entries, interrupted or unavailable network or other connections; misdirected, blocked, or delayed notifications; printing, typographical or other errors appearing within these Rules, in any Contest-related advertisements or other materials; or any other errors, problems or difficulties of any kind relating to or in connection with the Contest(s), including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Contest(s), the processing of Entries, or the announcement of the Prizes or in any Contest-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contests. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants or to any person's computer, phone, tablet or other electronic device related to or resulting from participating in the Contest(s). Released Parties (i) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning the Prizes, and (ii) disclaim any express or implied warranties. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Rules shall not constitute a waiver of any such term. All disputes will be resolved under the internal substantive laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflicts of laws principles, and the laws of the United States. All disputes arising out of or with respect to the Contest(s) or these Rules shall be heard exclusively in the courts, state and federal, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER OR NOT AN ENTRANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE ASSOCIATED WITH THE CONTEST(S) OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST(S) IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS' FEES) OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SUCH ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Contest(s) at any time. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor may elect to identify the Winner(s) and award the Prizes by way of selecting a Winner or Winners from among all non-suspect, eligible Entries received up to the time of such cancellation. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify these Rules for clarification purposes. Sponsor further reserves the right to revoke the Prizes or remove an Entrant or Prize Winner, at any time, if the Entrant or Prize Winner acts in a manner that is, in Sponsor's sole discretion, offensive, harassing, threatening, repugnant, or violent at any time in connection with the Contest(s) or Prizes.
WINNERS' NAMES/OFFICIAL RULES REQUEST: To obtain the names of the Winner(s) or a copy of these Official Rules, mail a request and a self-addressed stamped envelope to:2023-2024 Pittsburgh Steelers YinzChat Playoffs Contest, 100 Art Rooney Avenue358 North Shore Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. The Winners' names/Official Rules requests must be received by July 15, 2024.

PARENTAL LIABILITY RELEASE - WAIVER OF CLAIMS

YOUR CHILD (THE "POTENTIAL WINNER") HAS BEEN SELECTED AS A POTENTIAL WINNER IN THE "2023-2024 PITTSBURGH STEELERS YINZCHAT PLAYOFFS CONTEST" (THE "CONTEST(S)"). IN ORDER FOR YOUR CHILD TO BE ELIGIBLE TO CLAIM HIS/HER PRIZE, YOU MUST SIGN AND RETURN THIS FORM ATTESTING TO YOUR CHILD'S ELIGIBILITY AND TO RELEASE AND INDEMNIFY PITTSBURGH STEELERS LLC ("STEELERS") AND THE OTHER RELEASEES DESCRIBED BELOW.
In consideration for my child being permitted to participate in any way in the Contest(s), I, on my own behalf and on behalf of my child who has been selected as the potential winner as well as my personal representatives, heirs and next of kin:
- Hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Pittsburgh Steelers LLC and its parents, subsidiaries, and affiliate companies, and administrative, advertising, and promotion agencies, and any other entity involved in the development, administration, promotion, or implementation of the Contest(s), as well as the National Football League, its member clubs, NFL Properties, Inc. and each of their respective subsidiaries or affiliated entities, as well as the officers, directors, shareholders, members, managers, employees and agents of the foregoing (herein referred to as "Releasees") from all liability to the undersigned, or the undersigned's personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin for any and all loss or damage, and any claim or demands thereof on account of any injury to any person or property arising out of or related to the Contest(s), whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.
- Fully recognize that, in signing this Release, if I or my child are hurt or our property is damaged arising out of or related to the Contest(s), neither I nor my child will have any right to make a claim or file a lawsuit against the Releasees, even if they or any of them caused my or my child's injury or damage.
- Hereby agree to indemnify, save and hold harmless the Releasees from any loss, liability, damage, or cost they may incur arising out of or related to my or my child's participation in the Contest(s), whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.
- Hereby assume full responsibility for any risk of bodily injury or property damage arising out of or related to my or my child's participation in the Contest(s) whether caused by the negligence of Releasees or otherwise.
