The opinions of these Steelers Radio Network personalities do not reflect the views of the Steelers organization.
Dale's Pick: Cam Ward, QB, Miami (Fla.)
Analysis: The Titans could definitely trade down and get additional picks. But taking this year's top QB would make a lot of sense, too.
Matt's Pick: Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
Analysis: Tennessee could shop the first overall pick or could certainly go with the quarterback of their choice. But the Titans have needs at cornerback and wide receiver and snag a unique player in Hunter.
Mike's Pick: Abdul Carter, Edge, Penn State
Analysis: Trades will likely be an option, but in the event Tennessee stands pat it might just wind up with the best player available in the draft.
Dale's Pick: Abdul Carter, Edge, Penn State
Analysis: The best player available.
Matt's Pick: Abdul Carter, Edge, Penn State
Analysis: Carter would be an impact player coming off the edge for the Browns for years to come.
Mike's Pick: Cam Ward, QB, Miami (Fla.)
Analysis: The Browns draft their QB of the future.
Dale's Pick: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
Analysis: Compares favorably to Tua Tagovailoa.
Matt's Pick: Cam Ward, QB, Miami (Fla.)
Analysis: This works out well for the Giants. They get their quarterback of choice in Ward, a high upside signal caller.
Mike's Pick: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
Analysis: A good option for a team who's looking for their future at the position.
Dale's Pick: Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado
Analysis: With Christian Gonzalez on the other side, the Patriots can afford to utilize Hunter at wide receiver perhaps more than some other teams.
Matt's Pick: Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
Analysis: Few are projecting Simmons this high because of injury, but if he can prove he is healthy, Simmons might quickly assert himself as the best pure offensive tackle in this draft.
Mike's Pick: Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado
Analysis: Is he a cornerback? Is he a wide receiver? He might be Shohei Ohtani.
Dale's Pick: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
Analysis: The Jaguars can go a lot of different directions. But the top defensive tackle makes sense.
Matt's Pick: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
Analysis: The Jaguars are one interior defensive lineman away from really making their front a real strength. Graham looks to have very little downside.
Mike's Pick: Will Campbell, OT, LSU
Analysis: He started at left tackle as a true freshman at LSU. There's a very good chance he'll start as a freshman in the NFL, as well.
Dale's Pick: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
Analysis: Pete Carroll's a defensive-minded coach. There's no QB available that fits at this spot, so make the defense better.
Matt's Pick: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
Analysis: Maybe the Raiders address quarterback before the draft. If not, Sanders makes all the sense in the world.
Mike's Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Analysis: Running backs are back in style and Jeanty is the best of the bunch.
Dale's Pick: Mykel Williams, Edge, Georgia
Analysis: The Jets need to add on defense since they won't get a QB here.
Matt's Pick: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
Analysis: The Jets could go a lot of directions here, but New York grabs the best wideout in this class.
Mike's Pick: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
Analysis: He doesn't pile up the stats but he's impactful. And he can pressure the passer.
Dale's Pick: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
Analysis: The Panthers keep building with Bryce Young by getting him a big, smooth outside wide receiver.
Matt's Pick: Jalon Walker, Edge, Georgia
Analysis: The Panthers are in pretty good shape on the offensive side of the ball. Walker is the best defender available, and they waste little time in grabbing the Georgia pass-rusher.
Mike's Pick: Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas
Analysis: He covered Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith like a blanket in the College Football Playoff. That'll really resonate when Smith is one of the first players picked once his time eventually arrives.
Dale's Pick: Will Campbell, OT, LSU
Analysis: The Saints should be a trade-back team. They might have to gut their roster to get cap compliant. If not, adding on the offensive line is a must.
Matt's Pick: Shemar Stewart, Edge, Texas A&M
Analysis: The Saints are another team with major salary cap issues and a bevy of needs. They have always preferred big defensive ends and Stewart fits that perfectly.
Mike's Pick: Jalon Walker, Edge, Georgia
Analysis: Another Bulldogs defender that can do just about anything and everything.
Dale's Pick: Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
Analysis: The Bears have to protect Caleb Williams.
Matt's Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Analysis: Offensive line could certainly be in play here, but the Bears have a lot of money to spend in free agency and could address that need before the draft. Coming from the Lions, new head coach Ben Johnson understands the value of a difference making running back.
Mike's Pick: Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama
Analysis: He's played offensive tackle in a pinch and handled his business. But his calling card is guard, and he'll be called sooner rather than later.
Dale's Pick: James Pearce Jr., Edge, Tennessee
Analysis: The 49ers have more needs than many might think.
Matt's Pick: Will Campbell, OT, LSU
Analysis: Campbell might be the best offensive lineman in this draft, but he lacks prototypical offensive tackle traits. Considering Trent Williams' age, San Francisco needs all the offensive line help it can get.
Mike's Pick: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
Analysis: An often-mentioned NFL comparison for Johnson is Patrick Surtain, who just named NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
Dale's Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Analysis: The Cowboys fill a need with Jeanty.
Matt's Pick: Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas
Analysis: Dallas went offensive line in the first round last year. They might lose Zach Martin to retirement though. Keeping Banks in Texas could pay off at tackle or guard for the Cowboys.
Mike's Pick: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
Analysis: Grant and an immovable object have a lot in common. And he has an athletic component that ought to show up at the Combine.
Dale's Pick: Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
Analysis: The Dolphins might lose talented safety Jevon Holland in free agency.
Matt's Pick: Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
Analysis: Miami is yet another team in this area of the first round that needs a lot of offensive line help. They get it in Membou, who would help at tackle or guard.
Mike's Pick: Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
Analysis: The Dolphins might favor Membou at guard rather than tackle. Either way he looks like a plug-and-play candidate up front.
Dale's Pick: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
Analysis: Adding a do-it-all weapon like Warren would make a lot of sense for the Colts.
Matt's Pick: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
Analysis: Warren is an excellent all-around weapon and could help the development of Anthony Richardson. The Colts could also go just about any direction on defense.
Mike's Pick: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
Analysis: The John Mackey Award winner inspires reminders of Brock Bowers. The Colts can use Warren the way they once did Dallas Clark.
Dale's Pick: Mike Green, Edge, Marshall
Analysis: The Falcons' seemingly never-ending search for sacks continues.
Matt's Pick: Mike Green, Edge, Marshall
Analysis: The Falcons have been looking for pass-rush help for the better part of a decade. Although he is from a smaller school, Green could really kickstart this area of Atlanta's defense.
Mike's Pick: Mike Green, Edge, Marshall
Analysis: Pass-rush skills translate. And Marshall established in less than a full week at the Senior Bowl he has the skills.
Dale's Pick: Shemar Stewart, DL, Texas A&M
Analysis: Stewart's best production could be ahead of him. At least that's what the Cardinals hope.
Matt's Pick: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
Analysis: Defensive line could very much be in play for Arizona, but Johnson is just too good of a prospect to pass up in the middle of the first round.
Mike's Pick: Mykel Williams, Edge, Georgia
Analysis: Another Georgia guy for whom stats don't tell the story. Williams is Travon Walker-like; his Combine should delight.
Dale's Pick: Walter Nolen, DT, Mississippi
Analysis: The Bengals need to revamp their defense, starting in the trenches.
Matt's Pick: Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
Analysis: Safety has been a problem area for the Bengals ever since Jessie Bates left for Atlanta. The Bengals need a lot on defense and Starks is a rare safety prospect.
Mike's Pick: Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
Analysis: Cincinnati gets the best safety in the draft, one the Bengals can deploy in a variety of ways.
Dale's Pick: Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas
Analysis: The Seahawks need to continue building their offensive line
Matt's Pick: Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama
Analysis: Interior offensive line was the biggest weakness for the Seahawks in 2024. With an offensive coordinator change, it looks like Seattle wants to become a run-first team going forward.
Mike's Pick: Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas
Analysis: The type of athletic tackle who can do much more than protect the passer.
Dale's Pick: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
Analysis: Chris Godwin is a free agent. Mike Evans isn't getting any younger.
Matt's Pick: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
Analysis: Linebacker is Tampa Bay's biggest need. Campbell could really benefit from learning the position from Lavonte David.
Mike's Pick: James Pearce Jr., Edge, Tennessee
Analysis: His floor is a Day 1 designated contributor as a pass rusher. The rest will come.
Dale's Pick: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Analysis: Broncos add a TE who can help Bo Nix in the middle of the field — and more.
Matt's Pick: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Analysis: Loveland could provide an excellent safety valve option for Bo Nix and Sean Payton has a long history of maximizing this position.
Mike's Pick: Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
Analysis: QB Bo Nix can be supported with an upgraded running game.
Dale's Pick: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
Analysis: The Steelers get some beef up front to help solidify the defense with a massive run-stuffer with pass rush upside.
Matt's Pick: Walter Nolen, DT, Mississippi
Analysis: A young talented defensive lineman to learn his trade from Cameron Heyward seems like an ideal succession plan for the Steelers.
Mike's Pick: Walter Nolen, DT, Mississippi
Analysis: It would be tempting to take Ohio State WR Emeka Egbuka in this scenario, very tempting. But Nolen has maintained he's the next Aaron Donald. Sold.
Dale's Pick: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
Analysis: The Chargers need to improve their weapons on offense.
Matt's Pick: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
Analysis: The Chargers hit a home run at wide receiver in last year's draft with their selection of Ladd McConkey. They go back to the well for a different style wide out in Burden.
Mike's Pick: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Analysis: Who has it better than Jim Harbaugh when he gets a chance to draft a Michigan guy? It's a sign of the times.
Dale's Pick: Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
Analysis: The Packers haven't been shy about using first-round picks on defense.
Matt's Pick: Mykel Williams, Edge, Georgia
Analysis: Green Bay has a long history of preferring defense in the first round, and they could use a difference maker off the edge. Cornerback could also be in place for the Packers here.
Mike's Pick: Donovan Ezeiruaku, Edge, Boston College
Analysis: The 2024 Ted Hendricks Award winner is no one trick pony. He takes run defense as seriously as he does rushing the passer.
Dale's Pick: Azareye'h Thomas, CB, Florida State
Analysis: The Vikings' entire secondary will become free agents this offseason. Can't re-sign them all.
Matt's Pick: Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina
Analysis: The Vikings cornerback position could get hit very hard in free agency. Revel could go even earlier than this if he proves to be healthy.
Mike's Pick: Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky
Analysis: He can play press-man outside or handle slot receivers inside and he can find the football. There's a lot to like.
Dale's Pick: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
Analysis: Wide receiver is a huge need for the Texans.
Matt's Pick: Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon
Analysis: The Texans offensive line was a big problem for them last season. Houston needs to protect their greatest asset, CJ Stroud.
Mike's Pick: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
Analysis: A big-bodied red zone target and a touchdown-scoring machine. And a master of the circus catch.
Dale's Pick: Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
Analysis: Assuming Matthew Stafford returns, the Rams will want to protect him.
Matt's Pick: Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
Analysis: As is the case with Revel, Morrison is another highly talented and accomplished cornerback that needs to show he is healthy.
Mike's Pick: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
Analysis: The offense is transitioning in Los Angeles. Egbuka's readiness will speed the transition.
Dale's Pick: Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon
Analysis: The Ravens could lose impact players on their offensive line in free agency.
Matt's Pick: Donovan Jackson, OL, Ohio State
Analysis: Jackson is best off at guard, but also showed he can play tackle. Baltimore could use line help if they're impacted by free agency.
Mike's Pick: Donovan Jackson, OL, Ohio State
Analysis: His late-season switch from guard to tackle helped spearhead the Buckeyes' run to the national championship. There's value in versatility.
Dale's Pick: Donovan Ezeiruaku, Edge, Boston College
Analysis: The Lions add a pass rusher to play opposite Aidan Hutchinson.
Matt's Pick: James Pearce Jr., Edge, Tennessee
Analysis: Detroit could use a complement to Aidan Hutchinson. This is a team that plays with a lot of leads and could use more pass-rush to close out opponents.
Mike's Pick: Shemar Stewart, Edge, Texas A&M
Analysis: Stewart sound like a perfect fit for Dan Campbell when interviewed by the NFL Network at the Senior Bowl. "If I was a GM I would take me with the highest pick you got," Stewart maintained. "You don't wanna miss this."
Dale's Pick: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Georgia
Analysis: Bobby Wagner is 35 and likely headed for free agency.
Matt's Pick: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
Analysis: Terry McLaurin is Washington's clear top receiver. But this offense could use a number two and find it in fellow Buckeye Egbuka, an NFL ready wideout.
Mike's Pick: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
Analysis: A combustible offense becomes even more explosive.
Dale's Pick: Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina
Analysis: Buffalo's secondary continues to be a work in progress. And Revel would go higher if he hadn't been injured in 2024.
Matt's Pick: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
Analysis: For the better part of a decade, Buffalo had a great safety tandem in Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer. The Bills look to get back to that level of safety play and select Emmanwori, who has rare physical traits.
Mike's Pick: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
Analysis: Safety first for a Bills team determined to keep knocking on the door.
Dale's Pick: Grey Zabel, G, North Dakota State
Analysis: Kansas City's offensive line was the reason the Chiefs couldn't hang in the Super Bowl.
Matt's Pick: Grey Zabel, G, North Dakota State
Analysis: Kansas City would likely prefer to go offensive tackle rather than an interior lineman in Zabel, which is where he projects after playing tackle at North Dakota State. But the Chiefs also could lose Trey Smith in free agency.
Mike's Pick: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
Analysis: The Chiefs won't have to look far to find Patrick Mahomes a much-needed weapon.
Dale's Pick: Nic Scourton, DL, Texas A&M
Analysis: Is he a defensive tackle or a defensive end? The Eagles will just add the athletic Scourton to the mix and figure that out.
Matt's Pick: Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
Analysis: By now, everyone is aware with the Eagles infinity for using premium draft picks on linemen. The Super Bowl Champs could be set to lose Milton Williams and/or Josh Sweat in free agency and just grab the best defensive lineman available in Harmon.
Mike's Pick: Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
Analysis: Draft big guys who can move and are capable of dominating in the trenches. That's a theory as identifiable with Philly as a Pat's King of Steaks cheesesteak ("two wit, whiz").
