HR 2: Assessing the Referees Decision Making, Week 15 Recap

The refs were under a heavy spotlight after a bad performance that was led by the decision to not flag a single Eagles player during the fight that broke out in the first half. The Chiefs remained the number one seed in the AFC but Pat Mahomes now has to deal with a high ankle sprain, and the Bills held onto the number two spot as they went into Detroit and Josh Allen added more film for his case to win the MVP.

As predicted, the Steelers offense struggled mightily without its biggest weapon George Pickens. The Philadelphia defensive front was having a field day against the Steelers offensive line so Najee Harris once again struggled to get going. Mike Tomlin's critics had a lot to say about his clock management at the end of the first half and his decision to punt down 14 points in the fourth quarter.

The Steelers seemingly have their backs up against the wall this week in Philadelphia. Saquon Barkley and AJ Brown are as talented as any offensive duo in the NFL, plus the Eagles have arguably the most balanced defensive roster in the league. It will take big time efforts from Russell Wilson and Cam Heyward to thwart the Eagles talent on both sides of the football.

Odell Beckham Jr was just waived by the Miami Dolphins so which playoff team is the most likely to add the veteran wide receiver. Bill Belichick is officially going to be the next head coach for the UNC Tar Heels Football Team. This week's 1 o'clock window is extremely weak but is made up for with Bills/Lions and Bucs/Chargers at 4 o'clock and Packers/Seahawks on Sunday night . Tom and Jacob share who they got in their Triple Play and they pick a winner for Steelers/Eagles.

Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley have led the Eagles to the number one rushing offense in the league and if the Steelers want a shot of keeping up with Russell Wilson and company on Sunday, they must slow down Philly's run game. Once again Mike Tomlin and the Steelers were the stars and focal point of the second episode of AFC North Hard Knocks.

We have officially entered the final push for the playoffs, so Tom and Jacob play Taps for the teams unfortunate enough that have been mathematically eliminated, and they rank their top ten teams heading into the fifteenth week of the season.

There were plenty of positive take aways from the Steelers victory over the Browns especially the play of Cam Heyward and Russell Wilson. Even though the Steelers got the W, George Pickens missed the game and could miss more time down the stretch which could be detrimental for the offense.
