HR 1: Steelers Make Statement Win Over the Commanders

The Steelers allowed a season high 27 points but Russell Wilson threw for three touchdowns including the game winning moon ball to newly acquired WR Mike Williams to lead his team over Washington and improve to 7-2.

The Steelers had the biggest win of the week over Washington but there was still plenty of NFL action to pay attention to including the Chiefs blocking a last second field goal to remain perfect, the Niners winning with Christian McCaffrey back, and a major upset in Atlanta.

Mike Tomlin has a great track record coming off the bye week and against rookie quarterbacks, but Jayden Daniels seems like a different animal. Russell Wilson and Najee Harris need to attack the penetrable Washington run defense. Tom and Jacob make their predictions for who steps up against the Giants as a Big Balla.

The Bengals and Ravens provided us with the best Thursday night game of the year with Baltimore getting the season sweep over Cincinnati. Steelers GM Omar Khan brought in some extra wide receiver and edge rusher help by trading for Mike Williams and Preston Smith. The Steelers face the Commanders on Sunday and Washington also made a big splash at yesterday's trade deadline when they acquired CB Marshon Lattimore.

Jayden Daniels isn't just the run-away projected winner for this year's offensive rookie of the year, he's on pace for one of the best rookie seasons by a quarterback in NFL history. Tom and Jacob rank their top ten teams heading into the tenth week of the season.

All eyes are on the Steelers to see if they'll be the next team to make a move before the trade deadline to get an upgrade at wide receiver. The Steelers are back from the bye week and now have the third toughest strength of schedule for the remaining second half of the season.

The defense has done a good job of forcing turnovers and preventing scores, but there is still a lot to improve on in the second half of the season. The Bengals and Ravens both had blow out victories to keep things tight in the race for the AFC North title.
