Antonio Brown's schedule is like no other. He has made it to the semifinals of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars," he has participated in Phase 2 of the Steelers' offseason workout program, and he is spending time on his own working out, staying in football shape while practicing his dance routines.
But no matter how busy his schedule is, there is always time to do for others. And that is exactly what Brown will be doing when he hosts the Antonio Brown & Friends Softball Game at Consol Energy Park on June 11.
The game, which will feature some of his Steelers teammates as well as other NFL players, will benefit Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation.
"I know how important kids are," said Brown. "I have four of my own. Anything I can do to make a positive impact on kids, I'm all for it, especially in the city of Pittsburgh.
"I want to be a contributor off the field and in the community. It starts right here with the Children's Hospital Foundation. This celebrity softball game is going to be an opportunity to bring a lot of my friends out, a lot of my teammates, and do something positive, not only for us together, but for the city of Pittsburgh."
Among those scheduled to take part in the game will be Steelers teammates Le'Veon Bell, Ramon Foster, Mike Mitchell, Arthur Moats, Maurkice Pouncey and Fitzgerald Toussaint. Brown is also planning on bringing in players from around the NFL to participate.
In addition, Brown will have two kids selected through Children's Hospital Foundation to serve as batboy and batgirl, Max Cieply, 6, and Maddie Garner, 11.
