A look at what stood out in the 28-12 win over the Browns that along with a New York Jets loss clinched a playoff berth.

AB being AB:** Wide receiver Antonio Brown, coming off being voted Steelers MVP by his teammates, finished the day with 13 receptions for 187 yards and a touchdown. Brown, who had 10 receptions for 150 yards and a touchdown at halftime, joined Hines Ward as only the second Steelers player with back-to-back 10 touchdown catch seasons with that first half score. Brown also set a new Steelers record with 23 touchdown catches in a two-year span, surpassing Ward who caught 22 touchdowns in 2002-03 combined.
Brown also broke his Steelers single-season record for receiving yards with 1,834 yards. Brown broke the record he set in 2014 with 1,698 yards. And if that wasn't enough, Brown became the first player in NFL history with two 125 reception seasons. Brown had 129 receptions in 2014 and 136 receptions in 2015.
- Turnovers matter: The Steelers won the turnover battle against the Browns with two interceptions and two fumble recoveries, all of them coming in key situations. William Gay had a goal line interception that stopped a Browns drive. Ryan Shazier forced a fumble that Arthur Moats recovered and Anthony Chickillo forced a fumble on a kickoff return that Anthony Chickillo recovered, two turnovers that lead to 10 points which would secure a Steelers win. Will Gay then intercepted Austin Davis to basically seal the victory.
- Ben being Ben: Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger came out firing against the Browns completing 24 passes for 349 yards and three touchdowns. It's the 45th time he has thrown for 300 yards or more in the regular season, the 11th quarterback in NFL history who has done it 45 times.
- Key Injury: The offense needed Roethlisberger to lead the way after running back Le'Veon Bell exited the game in the second quarter with an ankle injury. Williams had five carries for eight yards when he left the game. Fitzgerald Toussaint came in for Williams, carrying the ball 12 times for 24 yards.
