Minicamp rolling:** The Steelers three-day mandatory minicamp is underway at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex, and Coach Mike Tomlin was happy with the first day of work.
"It was a good work day today," said Tomlin. "Not a lot different in this scenario, compared to an OTA, just the length of the day. There is a lot to be gained from that. The giving and receiving of information in a classroom-like setting, their ability to wire in and deliver the detail associated with more classroom time, is really what we are looking for. Similar time on the grass, similar things on the grass, but this day is more reflective of an in-season work day or full day of work. It's a big part of the process at the end of the offseason. It's a great way to bring it to a close. We will do similar things tomorrow and Thursday. And we will shut down shop for Latrobe."

Go for two:** Ben Roethlisberger said on Tuesday that he would love to attempt two-point conversions more frequently this season, and Tomlin said he doesn't have a problem with that mindset.
"A quarterback with that attitude doesn't seem like a problem to me," said Tomlin. "I like that. Hopefully he wants to go for two points every time. I hope our kicker wants to kick it every time. Then the ball ends up in my court. It doesn't sound like I can lose if that's the mentality of the men."
No. 1 update: Steelers No. 1 draft pick Artie Burns is getting a lot of looks during minicamp, and so far Tomlin likes what he sees from the rookie cornerback.
"He is a competitor," said Tomlin. "He is out here every day working to get better, not only in terms of what to do and his technique, but his conditioning, the things that are specific to his job. He does a good job of listening to guys. That's a good sign. Young guys with answers are scary. He doesn't appear to have all the answers. He has questions. That's good."
